Zelda the Turkey in Battery Park in Lower Manhattan

A turkey named Zelda has been wandering around Battery Park, at the southern tip of Manhattan, since 2003. I spotted her last year, but I didn’t see Zelda again until a couple of weeks ago when I took this photo (here’s a larger version of image):

On my upcoming tour this Saturday (April 30, 2011), “Walking Tour of Downtown Manhattan Waterfront,” we may spot Zelda if we get lucky.
