Last month I went on an Environmental Bike Tour of the South Bronx organized by Time’s Up and led by Harry Bubbins. We met at Harry’s Brook Park Community Garden on Brook Avenue and 141st in the Bronx (map).
We started the tour by biking around the southern coast line of the Bronx and then crossed over the Triborough Bridge to Randall’s/Ward’s Island. As you’ll see in the following slide show, the coast line around the South Bronx is not developed and there are no parks or bike greenways. Hopefully this will change in the near future.
